East King Street will be under construction near the Malvern Fire Company starting March 29, 2012. resulting detour will last for about 2 weeks. The alternate road runs parallel to King Street and was constructed to simulate a "lane shift", meaning drivers are able to take their primary routes but should expect delays. Vehicle access to the adjoining properties, including emergency vehicles, will be maintained.

Detective Jeffrey Heim named the 2011 Officer of the Year
Detective Jeffrey Heim was honored as the 2011 Officer of the Year on Monday, January 23, 2012 at the annual police awards ceremony.
Heim, a 13 year veteran of the Willistown Police Department, is a three time recipient of the award.
Heim was voted Officer of the Year by his peers for his dedication and service to the citizens of Willistown.
